Graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina in 1987.
In May 1997, Alejandro obtained a Master’s degree in Business Law from Universidad Austral. In 1998, he was a professor of “Strategy for Legal Departments” at the said Master's program at Universidad Austral.
His main areas of expertise are corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, negotiation, and creation of highly complex business structures. He has been coordinating the “German Desk” since he joined the Firm in 2004, providing advice to German and Austrian companies and investors.
Between 1987 and 1990, he worked for Estudio Mandry – Berisso (Buenos Aires, Argentina) as an associate attorney, dealing with matters of corporate law and international agreements.
Between 1991 and 1998, he was the Head of the Legal Department at Siemens S.A. for Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. He was actively involved in the restructuring efforts at the Siemens Group in Argentina, and in the negotiation and purchase of the Group’s affiliates in Chile and Uruguay. He has led countless negotiations with the Argentine Government, as well as with both domestic and international companies within the framework of major deals obtained by Siemens throughout that decade.
Between 1999 and late 2003, he was a senior director in a number of functions for the Siemens Group in Germany and in Latin America, gaining outstanding expertise in matters related to business strategy, business development and implementation of regional projects. He was Business Development Director for Siemens Business Services (Munich, Germany); Director of International Operations - Latin America, for Siemens AG (Munich), and Project Director for setting up a Shared Services regional company for Siemens in Latin America (Mexico).
