Graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina in 1987.

 

Professor of “Civil and Commercial Procedural Law” and “Political Law” in the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina’s Law School. Professor of “Commercial Distribution and Dealership, Agency and Franchise Agreements” in the Master in Business Law and Economics, and in the Postgraduate Course on “Modern Commercial Contracts”, both in the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina.

 

Arbitrator of the Alternative Dispute Resolutions Center CEMA (Centro Empresarial de Mediación y Arbitraje).

 

Partner in charge of the Litigation and Arbitration Departments. He specializes in litigation, especially in those claims related to the automotive industry. He is presently representing several car manufacturers (AUDI, VOLKSWAGEN, SCANIA, SEAT, MERCEDES BENZ, LAMBORGHINI and NISSAN) in court and arbitration proceedings derived from dealership and distribution agreements in general, and matters related to automobile sales through car purchase plans. He has vast experience in the drafting and filing of extraordinary appeals and motions for admission of a denied appeal before the Argentine Supreme Court. The litigation department he leads has been twice awarded the INTL Corporate Legal Awards 2013 and 2015, as the “Litigation Law Firm of the Year in Argentina”.

 

He has been engaged in, and currently advises on, the reorganization of distribution and dealership networks for some of the leading car manufacturers in Argentina.

 

He is presently acting as arbitrator and counsel in arbitrations pending before CEMA, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), and the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange.

 

Member of the Bar Association of Capital Federal and of the Bar Association of the City of Buenos Aires. Member of the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange. Member of the Catholic Lawyers Association in the City of Buenos Aires.

 

He held office as corporate controller and member of the Auditing Committee of Volkswagen Argentina S.A., Volkswagen S.A. de Ahorro para Fines Determinados and Volkswagen Compañía Financiera S.A. He has taught several courses on “Civil and Commercial Procedural Law” at the Argentine Ministry of Justice, at the Argentine Federal Police Department, at the Professional Council for Economic Sciences, and at the Buenos Aires Bar Association.
